The festive period is always busy and throws up challenges at the best of times - but for Albion that has increased this year following Carlos Corberan's departure.

With fixtures coming around so thick and fast, it is difficult to juggle your side, especially when you're being hit with injuries.

For Albion's interim management team, that is the case in one department as they head to Sheffield United looking to pick up an unlikely victory.

Mason Holgate went off injured at Pride Park and looks a real doubt for the trip to Yorkshire and that represents something of a headache.

The former boss Corberan has insisted in the past that asking Kyle Bartley to play three games in such a short space of time comes with its issues - but with Holgate injured it may well have to be the case on Sunday.

Elsewhere, it is clear that Albion are a much strong side with Jayson Molumby starting. He was left out from the start at Derby after taking a few kicks in the win over Bristol City, but there is no doubt he will be back in.

And the other question is Karlan Grant. Fit enough for the bench at Pride Park, he is sure to be back in real contention for this. Then on that note, has Grady Diangana done enough in his short but impressive cameo?
