Goals from Matheus Pereira, Callum Robinson and Mbaye Diagne saw Albion put in the best performance of their season at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea defender Thiago Silva saw red in the first half.
Albion were good value for the points, and had to fight back from a goal down after Christian Pulisic opened the scoring.
Mason mount did net in the second half to add some nerves to the visitors' win, but Albion eventually cruised to victory.
