Currently placed in the top spots, there have been some magic moments involving West Brom this season, here we take a look at the top five goals of the season so far...

5. Matheus Pereira v Bristol City

Let's just say Matheus Pereira knows his way around a free kick.

That was proven once against QPR, but also with a brilliant effort against The Robins back in November.

With the ball teed up right on the edge of the Bristol City box, it seemed that the Brazilian might face some trouble getting a shot on goal up and over the wall - but he managed it with brilliant subtlety.

Inauspiciously dinking the ball over the sizeable wall and into the top corner, Pereira left mouths gaping with his unbelievable cute effort well worth a place in our top five.

It gets in over that memorable QPR free kick purely for the style and succulence on show.

4. Grady Diangana v Blackburn Rovers

Grady Diangana definitely deserves a place in this top five, and makes it in with his goal against Blackburn Rovers.

The West Ham youngster has been a revelation since joining the Baggies on-loan, and has scored plenty of quality goals this season - but this is arguably the best of the bunch.

Surging down the left flank, as fans have become so accustomed to seeing, Diangana shrugs off a challenge as he bears down on goal, but instead of lashing or curling an effort goalwards, he opts for the cheekiest of chips to beat the goalkeeper.

It's a goal well worth a second, third and fourth look - it's a finish which is that good.

3. Kieran Gibbs v Bristol City

Kieran Gibbs is not known for his goal tallies, it's fair to say - but his goal against The Robins was a thing of beauty, mainly thanks to the build-up that preceded it.

With Albion winning the ball in midfield, Hal Robson-Kanu looked to have played Grady Diangana through to score.

However, with the loanee through on goal, instead of going for glory, Diangana coolly provided what could be the assist of the season, back-heeling calmly for Kieran Gibbs to fire home.

It wasn't a tough finish, nor was it one that needed to be precisely placed, but the sheer arrogance in its creation earns it its spot here.

2. Jake Livermore v Hull City

As players go, there have been few who have impressed for the Baggies quite as much as Jake Livermore - but the skipper hasn't been the scorer of many goals this season.

However, when he does score, they tend to be special, and his strike against Hull City definitely falls into that bracket.

With the Baggies at Livermore's former stomping ground, it was a quick corner which eventually found the feet of the midfielder 25 yards from goal.

Taking a single touch, the skipper then fired a stunning strike low into the bottom corner, leaving the Tigers 'keeper with no chance.

Ever the gentleman, Livermore didn't celebrate - although we're sure he'll look back at this goal with plenty of fondness.

1. Charlie Austin v Birmingham City

When it comes to the big games, you need big players to step up - and as Albion did battle with Blues at St Andrews, Charlie Austin did that.

The striker notched twice in the stunning 3-2 win, but it was his first goal which is the stand-out contender for goal of the season.

With Albion struggling at 2-1 down, Livermore played a pass into the striker with his back to goal, only for him to turn and lash home a volley high into the top corner from 20 yards.

The goal sparked wild scenes in the away end, topped only by his winner with nine minutes to play, nodding home a brilliant header to secure three points.

Albion signed Austin to bring goals, and boy did he bring a vital pair in this game...
