With title rivals Leeds taking on Cardiff on Sunday, Slaven Bilic’s side know they will return to the top of the Championship with a win.

We spoke to Mark Watson from the We Are Birmingham website, and host of the YouTube channel We Are Weekly, to get a closer look at Blues' season.

After recently being cleared of breaching spending rules by the EFL, how do you think Birmingham will respond going forward? Do you think results will be more positive?

Honestly, I don't believe it'll make any difference to us whatsoever.

When we were under investigation for the FFP breach last year the club seemed pretty worried and stayed relatively quiet about the whole thing.

This time the club flat out denied the accusations and announced that they were prepared to fight their corner. It was a very different approach.

The club knew we hadn't done anything wrong and I don't think any Blues fans believed we

had either. It was a non-story right from the start that national media jumped all over for clicks on social media.

If you put the words "Birmingham City" and "FFP" in a headline, it'll drive traffic to your site.

How do you assess Blues' season so far? Considering Albion's recent form, have Birmingham got a chance on Saturday?

Losing to Leicester in the cup was the end of a 12 game unbeaten run.

I'm not sure our form was "poor" as such and when you consider our frequent relegation battles I actually think it's something for the boys to be proud of - regardless of whether that run was full of draws rather than wins.

As for Albion, a couple of losses may seem like "poor form" to them but whilst they sit second in the table on 70 points, I'd describe it more of a temporary blip than an opportunity for Blues to take advantage!

Which Birmingham player you have been most impressed with this season?

Kristian Pedersen has really come into his own this season. I was relatively critical of him last year but he's been on fire in this campaign.

Solid at the back and dangerous going forward; he's also chipped in with a couple of crucial goals including a headed effort that would have put a hole through the side of Fort Knox.

Aside from KP, it's hard not to be in complete awe of Scott Hogan's instant impact since arriving from Villa. His seven goals from eight games have been critical to our unbeaten run and helped to earn him a POTM nomination.

Predicted line-up for Blues?

Camp; Pedersen, Robert, Clarke-Salter, Colin; Crowley, G. Gardner, Sunjic, Bellingham; Hogan, Jutkiewicz

Score prediction?

I just hope it's not a cricket score to be honest. If we dig in then we could grab a 1-1 draw but as Baggies showed earlier in the season, they have so much fire-power on the bench that then can turn a game on its head with a couple of tactical substitutions.

Hand on heart I think we're more likely to lose 3 - 1.
