West Brom keen on Rotherham United defender Semi Ajayi
Albion are interested in Rotherham United's versatile centre-back Semi Ajayi.
The 25-year-old impressed for the Millers in the Championship last season, winning one of the club's supporters' player of the year awards.
Capable of playing at centre-back or in defensive midfield, the former Arsenal under-21 player scored eight goals last season and played every single game for Rotherham.
The Baggies are looking for centre-backs after selling Craig Dawson to Watford for a fee in the region £6million.
They have also sent loanee Tosin Adarabioyo back to Manchester City.
Albion are keen on a permanent deal for Ajayi, who is also capped for Nigeria.
After selling Dawson, Jay Rodriguez, and Salomon Rondon, the Baggies are beginning to make significant moves in the transfer market.
They have also agreed a fee totalling £8m with Cardiff City for striker Kenneth Zohore.
