Wes Hoolahan impressed in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Hoolahan’s current deal runs out on Thursday, but the experienced 36-year-old is relaxed about the situation.

After impressing in the FA Cup matches against Wigan and Brighton, he’s happy to remain at Albion for the rest of the season and help fight for promotion.

But Hoolahan is keen to make the most out of the final years of his career, and if he wasn’t offered an extension or new signings limited his chances in the first team, he will look for a new club.

“I’m just happy to be playing and out there training,” Hoolahan told the Irish press.

“If you’re young you might be thinking about the next step in your career and worrying about it, but in 17 years of professional football I’ve done it all before, so whatever happens happens.

“I’m just happy to be involved. I played on Saturday, we did well, it was a good performance against Brighton so obviously I’ll go in and speak with the gaffer and see what the situation is.

“I feel fit and strong so if it came to it I’d look at what’s out there all right.”

Right-back Tyrone Mears is also out of contract on Thursday, and will seek similar talks with Moore once the dust settles on the transfer window.
