Barnes won a penalty in today's 2-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers which Jay Rodriguez converted, although ten-man Albion couldn't mount a comeback against Tony Mowbray's side at Ewood Park.

Earlier in the day, Puel had said "We will see" when asked if Leicester would recall Barnes in January. Moore is yet to hear from the Foxes, but will seek out clarification.

Although Barnes is a Leicester fan keen to break into their first team, it's believed he is eager to see out his season-long loan at the Baggies if he is going to play more regularly in the second half of the season at The Hawthorns than the King Power Stadium.

"No (we haven't been contacted)," said Moore. "We'll talk to Leicester about Harvey and once we know the decision we'll notify you guys.

"Harvey's been an excellent player for West Brom, he's showed the qualities why we brought him to the club.

"We've improved him as a player. He's been a constant threat for us and he showed his skill and temperament.

"He has a goal prowess about him. Long may that continue for the second half of the season, but we'll speak to Leicester during the month."
