The Baggies have announced a new feature for the home game against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, December 28.

It will allow fans to submit photos of their loved ones who supported the Albion who passed away during the year.

Those photos will be shown on the big screens at The Hawthorns in the build-up to the game alongside former players who also passed away during the year, including Cyrille Regis.

The project is called ‘Always Albion’ and the club hope this year will be the first that sparks a Hawthorns tradition.

Fans who wish to submit their lost friends or family to be shown on the big screens need to send a photograph along with the deceased’s name as well as the years they were born and died.

The roll of honour will also be printed in the matchday programme, giving supporters a memento they can take home.

Submissions must be emailed to fans@wbafc.co.uk and must be sent in before Sunday, December 9.
