Albion's head coach is still in the market for a right back as well a midfielder, and is trying to complete

There is interest in several of his players, including Jay Rodriguez, Nacer Chadli and Craig Dawson, but Moore insists the club do not need to sell to buy.

"Hopefully we'll get some more new faces to come in, we're working on that," he said, after Albion's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.

"It depends on nobody going out, we just want to bring some players in.

"I'm aware there's a lot of speculation about our players. Jay's been in the press, but he's part of the squad, and we're delighted he's here.

"You've seen a wholly committed performance by him tonight.

"Dawson didn't play (v Forest) because he's missed a large part of pre-season and he needs more training."

Burnley were interested in Dawson and Rodriguez, but they have since signed Ben Gibson in defence and striker Matej Vydra from Derby County.

Moore was speaking after Albion's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest got their Championship campaign off the ground.

Matt Phillips's thumping late equaliser three minutes from time rescued the Baggies a point after Moore's men had been outplayed for large parts of the game.

Albion might have snatched an improbable victory at the death, when they hit bar and post, but the head coach was pleased with the point.

"You're always pleased to get off the mark," he said. "For a neutral it as a good game to spectate, they saw two very good teams trying to win a football match.

"We executed the game plan we wanted to do. This will be a difficult place for visiting teams to come.

"This is their first game of the season, full house, underneath the lights, there's a real buzz and excitement around the palce.

"We had to be smart and shut the game down, we managed the occasion very well.

"To step in here and stifle them a bit and then we get a sucker punch with the goal that took a defelection.

"The response by the players was excellent.

"We need to adapt to this league. There were slight signs today, but we're nowhere near the finished article."

Albion were outplayed in the first half but they rallied after going behind ten minutes into the second half, particularlty after new signing Dwight Gayle came off the bench.

"Dwight's a quality player and will add to our goal threat," said Moore. "We've seen signs of his quality and how he will give the team an edge.

"Delighted with Dwight and all the players it's definitely a good point tonight."

Moore handed a debut to Tosin Adarabioyo at right back because Allan Nyom was injured.

The Manchester City loanee enjoyed a mixed evening, selling Johnstone short with a backpass in the first half and struggling to deal with Gil Dias before he was taken off, but Moore said he dealt with the pressure well.

"It was a very dififcult game to come into. That will do Tosin a world of good, his one v one defending was superb, his positional play was good, and his timing of headers was better as the game wore on.

"He got pulled into some difficult positions at times. But he was part of a team that got a good point tonight."

Forest boss Aitor Karanka said: "We should have won the game. It's true they hit the crossbar and the post but we should have scored the second or the third. We had a lot of chances in the first half.

"But we didn't score and when you play against teams like West Brom you make one mistake you get punished."
