The extensive survey, completed by almost 3,800 fans, asked travelling supporters for feedback on pricing, access, stewarding and many other facets.

Albion scored an average of 7.57 from visiting fans, which was only beaten by Southampton (7.67) and Swansea (7.57).

Cardiff City received the highest score (8.04) in all four divisions, while Preston North End and Fulham came second and third in the Championship behind the overall winner.

FSF deputy chief executive David Rose said: "There are an increasing number of clubs where away fans are no longer an afterthought, but there’s still a lot of areas for improvement across the country and we’ll continue to fight for better treatment."
