The 21-year-old has joined the League Two outfit after being released by the Baggies this summer.

Ross impressed during a trial at Florence Park towards the end of last season.

He told the Daily Gazette: "The move came about quite quickly.

"I found out that my future wasn't going to be at West Brom and they've been great with the whole situation, finding me a new club.

"The club has a flourishing academy and it's also a nice part of the world, so it ticked all the boxes for me."

Ross was one of four youngsters released this summer, alongside Tahvon Campbell, Robbie McCourt and Evan Pierce.

Campbell has joined Forest Green Rovers in League Two.

Wolves striker Aaron Collins, 21, has joined Colchester on a season-long loan.
