Darren Moore’s first match as permanent head coach will be away at National League side Barnet on Saturday, July 7.

A week later, the Baggies travel to League One Swindon Town for another friendly on Saturday, July 14.

Both matches are 3pm kick-offs and prices for the Swindon game will be £8 for adults, £5 for concessions, and £2 for under-11s.

Moore will kickstart pre-season with a five-day training camp in Portugal from Monday, June 25, but the club have confirmed that there will be no overseas friendlies during the summer.

Albion’s new boss is hoping to stage a home friendly a week before the Championship season begins on Saturday, August 4.

The Baggies are also expected to fit in another training camp for the squad at some point during pre-season.

This summer's pre-season is set to be more modest than previous years as Moore opts for a back-to-basics approach.

Last summer, Albion went to Hong Kong for the Premier League Asia Trophy and also took in games in Spain and Austria.

The summer before they played Paris Saint-Germain and visited Holland, while in 2014 and 2015 the squad travelled out to the United States.
