Newcastle striker Islam Slimani handed three-match ban for kick on West Brom's Craig Dawson
Islam Slimani has been handed a three-match ban for kicking Craig Dawson during Albion’s win over Newcastle.
The Algerian striker, who is on loan from Leicester, accepted the FA’s charge of violent conduct but argued the suspension was excessive.
However, this was rejected by an independent regulatory commission. Slimani will now miss the rest of the season.
