The under-pressure Baggies boss is facing the axe after winning just one of his 14 Premier League games in charge.

Defeat at Vicarage Road on Saturday could spell the end of his short tenure, but he's determined to keep fighting and will not walk away from the job.

And in an effort to keep hold of his position, he's promised to make changes to his starting line-up tomorrow.

When he was asked if he could survive a sixth loss in a row, he said: "I don’t know because that’s not my decision.

"If you think I’m going to walk away with the experience I’ve got with a team that’s probably isn’t functioning very well, then you’re wrong. I want to try and make it function as long as I can."

However, Pardew's team has lost its last five games in a row and performances – which were promising in January - have started to tail off dramatically.

Albion's head coach said: "I’d be foolish not to make changes after last weekend. So there will be changes.

"When you are bottom of the league, the pressure is on us and particularly after the last couple of weeks where we are being questioned, so you have to stand up and answer it.

“It’s difficult. We’ve made it more difficult obviously because of what happened in Barcelona which put a spotlight on ourselves in terms of professionalism and everything else.

"Unfortunately, I can’t play but I’ll probably shout at a few.

"These guys are paid a lot of money to play for the football club. Obviously I’m the manager but there’s everyone associated with this situation.

"I’ve made it very, very clear to them people will lose jobs.

"It might be the manager, it might be staff underneath me that might lose their jobs if we get relegated. So we’ve go to fight. I want to see fight on the pitch."

When Pardew was asked what changes he would be making and whether Sam Field would be considered, he said: "I don’t think there’s one player here who hasn’t had a go under me.

"Everyone has had a go and I’ve had different formations. We’ve been three at the back; we’ve had five in midfield, four in midfield, two up top.

"So it’s not through want of trying and if I need to try something else this weekend, that’s what I’ll do until we find ourselves a win.

"We obviously suffered those injuries after Liverpool which knocked us back. We haven’t really recovered from that."

Despite the perilous position of both the club and his future, Pardew is still preaching positivity and still believes he can turn it around.

"A win can change things," he said. "It can change the dynamic of this football club very quickly.

"We have to go into this game believing that we can because a win is everything right now.”
