Albion's No.1 missed tonight's 1-1 draw with Leicester after tweaking his knee playing football in the back garden with his son.

He missed 10 months of football from April 2015 to January 2016 with damage to his cruciate knee ligament and is due to go for more scans this week on his latest injury.

To further complicate matters, stand-in keeper Boaz Myhill picked up a knock at the King Power Stadium.

He is due to see doctor Mark Gillett tonight, but he believes it's just a dead leg. More concerning is the potential long-term injury to Foster.

"Ben has hurt his knee which is an enormous worry for us because Ben is one of the best keepers in the Premier League," said Pulis. "We've got to check. It might be minor, but we've got to make sure that he's scanned and we find out exactly what it is before we move on.

"At the moment we don't know exactly what it is. He was playing with his son in the back garden and he's just tweaked his knee and we're a little bit concerned because he's had the cruciate.

"There was no way in a million years we were going to take the risk with him."

Myhill picked up his knock during a second-half collision with Jamie Vardy after a dreadful back pass from Ahmed Hegazi.

He went down a few minutes later, prompting 21-year-old Alex Palmer to warm up on the sidelines, but waved away

"I don't know what happened with Bo because he's been taken for a drugs test and they still have him so until he's done his sample, we're not going to know if it's hamstring, back or groin," said Pulis.

However, Myhill himself reckons it was just a dead leg, suggesting he may be able to recover in time for Saturday's trip to Southampton.

"I think that's what it was," said the keeper. "It's just good to be playing, when you've spent the past year watching football, it was awesome to play.

"It was a great result, I'm grateful for the lads putting their bodies on the line, obviously they realised fairly quickly I wasn't able to do much.

"I tried to get up and see how it was, it wasn't great, but managed to get through the rest of the game.

"I'll go see Mark Gillett after the game and see how it is."

Having not played a league game since April 2016, Myhill said he would have had to be dragged off the pitch.

"I've not played for a year," he said. "I'm not coming off, they would have had to took me off, no chance."
