I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m getting fed up of the same negative approach.

For the first time since Tony Pulis’s arrival, we now have a squad in place that can genuinely compete with the majority of the Premier League, especially at home.

Also for the first time we have a midfielder in Grzegorz Krychowiak that allows us to play two central midfielders, which in turns allows us to play two up front, which we did against Watford and went 2-0 up.

So what does he do? Immediately after we score the second, he calls Gareth Barry over to get Rodriguez to drop back to the left of a five-man midfield, isolating Rondon yet again, no-one within 30 yards of him again, encouraging Watford to come at us.

Let’s face facts – we deserved what we got.

He cannot possibly moan about the four minutes when we are time wasting from 30 minutes into the match. You reap what you sow.

For me, patience has run thin.

Ask yourself this question: If Marco Silva had our team, would we be better than we are?

For me, it is definitely yes.

Playing this way will not be tolerated for long, especially when we are not winning.

Another disappointing result at the weekend in which we let a two-goal lead slip against high-flying Watford.

Strikes from Salomon Rondon and Jonny Evans looked like they would herald us the three points, but an equaliser with the last kick of the game was the ultimate sucker punch.

Unsurprisingly, fans are looking to point the finger of blame and once again that seems to be aimed at Tony Pulis.

There is an ever-increasing number of supporters desperate for him to be replaced so that we can bring a more attractive style of football to The Hawthorns.

Whilst I personally think he is still the man for the job, I am also aware of his failings.

Was bringing on Livermore as a substitute the right decision considering we clearly needed a third goal which would have surely killed the game?

Could we have played more on the front foot rather than allowing Watford more possession and chances?

Of course, Pulis should shoulder some of the blame for our poor recent form but should the players who cross the white line also take a long hard look at themselves? Perhaps blaming Pulis now seems like the easiest option.

Pulis isn’t doing himself any favours is he? Yes, we’ve got a few injuries currently and, yes, a few refereeing decisions went against us Saturday, but for me the biggest contributor to us throwing away the lead was Pulis’s decision-making.

When Watford were well on top early in the second half, instead of tweaking things to try and get back the attacking ascendency, he decided he was going to try and hold on to the lead and get as many men behind the ball as possible to snuff out their attack.

Now I have absolutely no problem him taking that approach if we were in that situation against say Chelsea or Man City, but we are talking about Watford at home.

There have been a few glimmers of some attacking football in the last three games which proves that this group of players is capable of creating chances, but the onus is on Pulis now to take more risks instead of always resorting to ultra-defensive mode to see out a match.

To concede a goal with the last kick of Saturday's game was sickening, albeit we had clung on to our lead for almost 70 minutes with a wing and a prayer.

Watford looked impressive, you could see why they are unbeaten on the road this season.

Holebas and Richarlison linked up really well to turn Dawson inside out and our usually steadfast defence was beaten to everything in the air.

A series of misplaced passes and poor decision making on and off the ball piled the pressure on.

Truthfully, the starting eleven selected by Pulis wasn't far off what I would have chosen, but something didn't click.

Evans hasn't reached the form of last season since his return to the side and Hegazi still has a lot to learn about the English game.

As one of our few creative players, Phillips had an off day. Rondon seemed to revert to type after his goal, failing to hold up the ball or create space for us up front.

But moving Rodriguez out wide nullified what little attacking threat we held.

I will welcome the return of Burke from injury, and Chadli from the wilderness. I think we'll need their pace and creativity for the games ahead.
