Tony Pulis: International break will help Oliver Burke and Nacer Chadli

Tony Pulis reckons the international break has come at a good time for Albion because he wants Oliver Burke and Nacer Chadli to get more minutes under their belt.

The club's two most expensive players are now back in full training after returning from muscle injuries - but Pulis is unlikely to start either against Watford tomorrow because he wants both to rediscover their match sharpness.

Pulis is hoping Chadli will feature for the already-qualified Belgium in their World Cup qualifiers against Bosnia & Hergevonia and Cyprus.

Burke is expected to play for Scotland under-21s in their Euro qualifiers against England U21s and Latvia U21s.

The Baggies boss also hopes Gareth McAuley, who is currently being kept out of the team by Ahmed Hegazi, will also get valuable minutes for Northern Ireland after returning from his thigh injury.

"Burke and Chadli have trained but still haven't had the game time that you would want them to have," said Pulis. "They are the two that are still missing for us.

"We need them to get the game time. If Chadli isn't available on Saturday, hopefully he goes away with Belgium and gets some game time.

"Hopefully McAuley will get some time with Northern Ireland as well, he needs game time.

"Actually this international break could be good for us, it might be good for them to go and get some minutes in international football."

Chadli hasn't played a single minute of Premier League football so far this season after skipping the club's week-long pre-season camp in Austria.

But Pulis insists his relationship with the Belgian hasn't suffered since then, and maintains that the decision for Chadli to stay was a mutual one.
