West Brom hand trial to free agent Jason Lowe
West Brom are handing a trial to 25-year-old free agent Jason Lowe in their first pre-season game.
The defensive midfielder has been training with the Baggies in Austria for the past week.
A former captain of England under-20s, Lowe has spent his whole career at Blackburn Rovers to date.
He was captain last season but was one of eight players released by Rovers following relegation from the Championship.
The Baggies play Czech champions Slavia Prague at the Kumberg Stadium in Austria this afternoon. Kick off is 5pm local time, 4pm UK time.
