Jay Rodriguez on the verge of signing for West Brom
Jay Rodriguez is expected to complete his move to Albion in the next few days.
It's believed the Baggies have now agreed a fee of around £12million up front with Southampton, rising to a possible £15m with add-ons.
Rodriguez has now returned from holiday and barring any snags in negotiations over personal terms, will become Albion's first signing of the summer.
It's hoped the 27-year-old will arrive in time to join the squad on Tony Pulis's annual pre-season camp in the hills of Austria. The Baggies fly out on Tuesday.
Pulis has chased Rodriguez for the past 12 months, and was on the verge of signing him on loan last summer before Saints pulled the plug on a deal when he scored against Sunderland.
