Chief Executive Martin Goodman will be on hand with the volunteers of ‘Apna Albion’ to answer any questions Baggies supporters have about the new group aimed at building relations with the local Punjabi community.

A committee will be elected and the club’s short and long-term objectives will be firmed up.

Apna member and season ticket holder Steve Ghuman said: “This will help us take a ‘pulse check’ in the interest we have generated so far.

“We want to attract more Punjabi supporters through the turnstiles – and we want them to have fun and enjoy the experience.

“Maybe there are many out there who wanted to come but were a bit apprehensive for whatever reason – we can show them this is a great experience.

“As we grow, we have a definite ambition to give something back to the community – and not just the Sikh-Punjabi community but any who may be in need of help or are suffering a difficult time.

“That’s what being part of a community is all about after all.”

The meeting takes place in the Pennington Suite of The Hawthorns between 6.45pm and 9pm on Tuesday, June 27.
