The legendary football boss will bow out after 26 years at Old Trafford for the club's final match of the season against West Bromwich Albion on May 19.

But supporters were left reeling today after websites were selling tickets from between £120 and £2,500.

On Viagogo, an official online marketplace for supporters, tickets were selling between £120 for a seat in the East Stand Lower up to £2,500 for a seat in the Smethwick End.

A top-priced ticket was on sale for £2,500, plus fees, handling and VAT of £452.

Meanwhile, on the 1st 4 Football Tickets website, a single ticket was today selling for £902.50 plus a £332.50 service fee and between £10 and £25 delivery.

A spokesman for West Bromwich Albion said: "Viagogo is the official ticket market place for the vast majority of Barclay's Premier League clubs.

"Up to 40 West Bromwich Albion season ticket holders per match have sold their seats on Viagogo this season – and the Manchester United game is no exception.

"It is at season ticket holders' discretion how much they sell their seats for."
