Comley is expected to miss at least the first three weeks of the new campaign after suffering a fractured leg in Walsall’s second pre-season friendly against Villa.
Stirk, who arrived from Birmingham City last summer, scored three goals and set-up five more in 37 league appearances during his debut season.
