Walsall boss Mat Sadler salutes fan support after impressive new figures revealed
Mat Sadler has praised the “brilliant” support from the Walsall fan base after home attendances reached a 16-year high this season.
Bescot attracted an average of 5,618 supporters per home game (their highest since 2007/08) and Sadler is hopeful his team can give supporters even more reason to pack out the stadium next year.
He said: “The support has been brilliant. It’s also worth noting that we’ve played some Tuesday night games with 60 fans from the opposition and to continually still have attendances going up is a testament to the hard work going on behind the scenes.
