Walsall set to sign Cheltenham keeper Owen Evans
Walsall are set to continue their squad rebuild by signing Cheltenham Town goalkeeper Owen Evans on a free transfer.
As per reports from Gloucestershire Live, the 25-year-old Welshman is set to join Michael Flynn's men having been Cheltenham's first choice for most of last season.
Evans played 27 times in League One during 2021-22 but was made available for transfer earlier this summer.
Walsall have now swooped in to add the former Wales Under-21 international to their new-look group for the new League Two campaign.
