Sporting Khalsa's Danny Ashton is due to undergo an operation after breaking his leg in four places in their victory over Rocester.

Rocester's Martin Smyth was given a red card for the tackle and the game was delayed for half an hour while paramedics tended to the stricken player.

Sporting Khalsa offered updates regarding Ashton's injury via Twitter.

Also badly hurt was Chasetown midfielder Josh Craddock, who suffered a double leg-break in their win over Rugby Town.

The club said 25-year-old Craddock was believed to have fractured his tibia and fibia during the game.
