Manager hits out at 'very violent' challenge after Aston Villa opponent suffers broken jaw
Bournemouth say midfielder Alex Scott suffered a fractured jaw from what their boss Andoni Iraola described as a “very violent” challenge from Villa defender Tyrone Mings.

Scott needed treatment on the pitch after being caught by Mings’ elbow in the sixth minute of Saturday’s match at the Vitality Stadium.
The 21-year-old then went down again holding his face after a challenge with Villa midfielder Amadou Onana, before being substituted at half-time and then taken to hospital for X-Rays.
Scott was actually penalised by referee Stuart Attwell for what the official deemed to be a foul on Mings in the original incident, which was also reviewed by VAR.
Villa later had Jacob Ramsey sent-off for two bookable offences but Iraola disagreed with the official’s call on both.
He said: "The second yellow that Ramsey received is not a second yellow.
"Tyrone Mings knows what he is doing, he knew where Alex was. It was very violent.
"The value of a red card in the sixth minute or the 80th minute is very different. He sees Alex coming and for me it is very dangerous.
"I hope he can finish the season but I really don't know. He was almost knocked out. After the elbow we didn't know if he could continue. He wanted to continue but he was not 100%. It (was) a very violent elbow."
Jamie Redknapp, covering the match for Sky Sports, disagreed with Iraola’s assessment of the incident.
He said: “I don't personally think it is [a red card]. I always admire what Andoni says. He understands the game really well. Sometimes it's your emotions.
'I think he just gets his arm up there. Obviously, there is a massive difference in the height with Scott and Tyrone. I think he just gets his arm out. I don't think he necessarily swings his elbow, he just puts it out.
'You have to use your arms to create a bit of leverage, to create space. I don't think that's it. If it could have been a yellow card, I just don't think it's a red card. I don't think he's malicious. I just think it's one of those actions.'
