Aston Villa have sold out their Wembley allocation for the Championship play-off final

The club previously warned supporters to snap up the remaining tickets quickly, as restrictions were loosened regarding who could purchase seats for the show-piece event on Monday afternoon.

Villa have now confirmed that all of their 38,144 tickets for the final this Saturday have been sold.

Wyness hailed the fans for their continued support, culminating in the Wembley sell-out - just five days after the tickets went on-sale.

"Once again, the Villa fans have shown their tremendous support," he said.

"Big games always mean disappointment for some, it has unfortunately always been like that in football. I know we could have taken many thousands more.

"Your support on Saturday will be crucial as it was in the play-off semi-final games. A sincere thank you to all of you."

Villa take on Fulham this Saturday in the huge clash, with the winner securing promotion to the Premier League alongside Wolves and Cardiff.
