As a 16-year-old, he was offered professional terms with the club and penned a deal to run to June 2025.
It was a big endorsement of the youngster's talents - and there were high hopes for what he could do at Celtic.
However, just months after signing that deal with the Scottish club, Sule opted to go south and sign for West Brom, joining Albion's scholarship.
Since then his stock has risen - and he has been making a growing impression within the Albion academy.
He made an immediate impact in the Albion under 18s, with nine goals, before he went on to break into the under 21 side, where he scored an eye catching brace against Arsenal.
After his first six months at Albion, he netted a rocket during the final under 21 game of the campaign against Leeds, before going on to pen a professional contract at Albion on his 17th birthday.
This season has been another impressive one for the youngster, who on Monday took his tally to double figures for the campaign in the 3-2 defeat to QPR.
Back in March, speaking to Albion's website, Sule explained how had started to find his feet at the club, and he was feeling 'loved' at Albion.
He said: “I’ve started to find my feet now.
“The club’s been helping me to get back home more often, but also the digs families I’ve been with have made me feel so welcome and that’s played a big part in my performances.
“It’s been down to them and the club, who have made me feel wanted and loved since I’ve been here."
The forward is a regular fixture for Richard Beale's under 21 side and is set to be for the remainder of the campaign.
The professional deal he signed with Albion is set to expire in June this year - with Sule, along with other Albion youngsters, waiting to see what the future holds beyond the summer.
