Wolves

Reports are now suggesting that Joao Cancelo, who was strongly linked with a move to Wolves, could be holding out for a move to a Champions League side.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side were linked with the full-back, rated at over £30m, but now reports claim he won't be heading to Molineux.

The Valencia man spent last season on-loan at Inter Milan, and could be on the move again this summer.

Reading are reportedly keen on a move for Wolves defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell.

The 25-year-old is unlikely to feature in Nuno's thinking with Wolves now in the top flight, especially with the defender spending last season on-loan in League One.

It's thought that Reading could offer a potential destination for the centre-back, although it's yet to be confirmed whether their interest constitutes a permanent deal.

West Brom

Albion have reportedly missed out on Notts County signing Tom Crawford.

The midfielder sealed his move from Chester City last week, with Notts paying an undisclosed fee for his services, but reports suggest they pipped Albion to his signing.

He'll now look forward to starting his career with Kevin Nolan's side.

Meanwhile, Cardiff are one of the bookies' favourites to sign Albion's veteran midfielder Gareth Barry.

The former Villa man made the move to Albion last summer, but irked fans due to his off the field actions through the course of the season.

Barry has triggered an optional extra year at Albion in his favour, but could look elsewhere following the club's relegation.

Aston Villa

Southampton are reportedly eyeing Villa youngsters Keinan Davis and Andre Green, hoping to snatch a cut-price deal for the pair.

Villa are in need of funds as they continue to wrestle through their financial struggles, and the Saints are hoping to capitalise on that by bringing in the young forwards.

It's reported that they could bid as low as £4m for the duo, although an offer of that bid could well be considered derisory by the Villans.

Villa are reportedly joining the race for John McGinn from Hibs.

The Scottish international has reportedly become of interest to Steve Bruce, although Sunderland, Rangers and Celtic are also keen.

It's thought that £5m is the asking price for the midfielder, although Villa's financial situation could price them out of a deal.

Walsall

No fresh Walsall rumours today.
