Wolves

Reports claim that Newcastle United are being offered supposed Wolves target Joe Allen.

The Welsh midfielder has been linked away from Stoke following their relegation from the Premier League, with Nuno Espirito Santo's side just one of the teams mentioned as a potential destination.

The Staffordshire based club are seeking a reported £20m for the midfielder.

Meanwhile, the bookies have listed Wolves among the favourites to sign Swansea defender Alfie Mawson.

The centre-back is set to leave the Liberty Stadium following their relegation to the Championship.

Arsenal and Spurs are the only teams ahead of Wolves with the bookmakers, who also list West Ham and Everton as potential suitors.

West Brom

Crystal Palace are the latest club being linked with a move for Albion striker, Jay Rodriguez.

Reports claim that Roy Hodgson is monitoring his situation at The Hawthorns, with the Baggies keen on keeping him.

Burnley and Bournemouth are two teams already reportedly keen on him.

Meanwhile, Burnley, Newcastle and Celtic are leading the race for Albion defender Craig Dawson with the bookies.

The defender was a stand-out performer for the Baggies despite their relegation, and is being tipped for an exit with Premier League sides calling.

It's not yet known if Dawson intends to leave this summer.

Aston Villa

Villa are reportedly interested in a deal for Abel Hernandez, who is approaching the end of his contract at Hull.

Steve Bruce has strict financial constraints to work with following the club's failed attempt at promotion, so a move for a free agent could be more likely than any proposed cash purchase.

However, his wages could be a real sticking point, with Villa needing to tighten the belt on this front too.

With increased speculation surrounding Jack Grealish, reports claim that Aston Villa would require a bid in excess of £25m for them to consider a sale.

Bruce has already expressed his desire to keep Grealish at the club despite playing in the Championship for yet another season.

The attacking midfielder has been one of the club's best performers this season - but is yet to announce whether he wants to stay in the second tier.

Walsall

Dean Keates has admitted he's missed out on a second signing for Walsall.

The boss has already brought in Andy Cook this month, but confirmed that he narrowly missed on a second player over the last week.

“That is how it goes sometimes." He said. "You think you are about to complete the deal and then the goalposts get moved at the last minute."
