'The Crafty Cockney' is the special guest at a dinner on Thursday June 18 at the Copthorne Hotel in Brierley Hill.

The five-times world champion, who is now a pundit with Sky Sports, has a reputation for being honest and opinionated on all things Darts – and life in general.

And he's relishing the prospect of appearing at the Level Street venue and mixing with guests.

Bristow said: "Darts is on a high, with amazing ticket sales and TV viewing figures.

"It's still great to be involved like I am, I have a passion and love for the game, it's been my life, and I'm looking forward to going to Brierley Hill.

"I always enjoy playing against members of the audience and in this instance I will also be doing a question and answer session, telling stories from my career."

The evening will be hosted by Bristow's Sky Sports colleague Nigel Pearson.

Doors will open at 7pm and tickets include a two-course meal, the opportunity to play Bristow and an after-dinner speaking spot from the man himself.

Standard tickets are £30 with gold tickets – including priority seating and a signed photograph with Bristow on the night – available at £50.

Tickets are available online from www.sportstalkevents.co.uk or by calling Steve Saul at Route 39 on 01902 244220.

There will also be a raffle and auction of sporting memorabilia on the night with a donation going to Compton Hospice.
