Rileys Sports Bars are staging 33 regional 'Darts Masters' events, one of which will be held in Wolverhampton, with four spots available for July's final decider.

The bulk of the regional heats take place on Saturday May 4, a Bank Holiday weekend, which is the case for Wolverhampton, who will also stage the nationals.

The Broad Street venue will offer a £3,250 prize pot on the final day, Saturday July 6, with cash winnings for all of the last 32 and a cool £1,100 for the outright winner.

Tournament organiser Ben Pearce said: "This is the first time we have put up such a large cash pot for a darts event and continues to show our support for this ever-growing sport.

"I look forward to crowning the first Rileys Master of Darts come July in Wolverhampton."

Entry to the tournament is just £6 when paid in advance through www.rileys.co.uk/tournaments or in person at a club hosting an event.
