New darts stars coming to Wolverhampton pub
Darts up-and-comers Dean Winstanley and Kim Huybrechts will be the feature attractions of the next exhibition at Wolverhampton's Cleveland Arms pub.
The duo step up to the oche at the venue on Stowheath Lane on Thursday April 18 and will go head-to-head, along with playing legs against punters on the night.
Winstanley is making a name for himself in the PDC since switching codes from the BDO at the start of last year, where he was World Championship runner-up in 2011.
The 32-year-old from Doncaster hit a nine-darter in his first PDC World Championship in December and was voted the organisation's Best Newcomer for 2012.
Belgian Huybrechts reached a PDC World Championship quarter-final in 2011 and and came within a game of his first major title in December, the Players Championship.
The two, who have yet to clash in televised darts, will play a first to eight legs match against each other at the Cleveland, in what promises to be an intriguing match-up.
Before that, each player will play eight members of the audience and there will be photo opportunities with the two, printed and autographed on the night.
Tickets for the exhibition are £10 each and can be purchased by calling 01902 451 021 or from www.clevelandarms.com.
