Wednesbury's Matthew Dicken won one game all weekend in the latest tournaments on the PDC Youth Tour at the Moorways Centre in Derby.

Dicken's maiden match, a 4-1 victory over John Seagrave in the first round, turned out to be his only success over the three events.

Eventual winner Jamie Lewis ended his first run in the second round on Saturday, with Dicken returning to the oche for the day's second event.

Finalist John De Kruijf ensured he didn't get past the first hurdle with a 4-2 defeat, leaving yesterday's tournament as Dicken's last hope.

Alexander Topper ended his weekend on a sour note with another 4-2 loss yesterday, as Michael Smith went on to take the title.

Lewis whitewashed Smith in the final of Saturday's first event, with De Kruijf seeing off Jamie Landon 4-3 to win the day's second tournament.
