Testing time for Jason Welborn ahead of big fight
Jason Welborn has had to relocate to Essex this week as safety precautions take place ahead of his latest boxing bout.
The Rowley Regis fighter, who steps into the ring with Felix Cash tomorrow for the Commonwealth middleweight title, has had to undergo Covid-19 testing and enter a ‘bubble’ ahead of his fight.
He is headlining Fight Camp 3, which takes place in the back garden of Matchroom’s HQ in Brentwood, Essex. Welborn and his fellow boxers – including Walsall’s Rachel Ball – have spent all week in the southeast as they self isolate and await their test results ahead of fight night.
