Boxing shows off until May
All boxing tournaments and events under the British Boxing Board of Control have been suspended until at least the end of April due to the coronavirus outbreak.
After initially cancelling all bouts until the end of March, that period has now been extended as cases of the virus soar across the UK.
A statement from the BBBoC read: “The suspension of boxing tournaments remains in place until the end of April when further consideration will be given. We will continue to follow Government and the Medical Authorities advice and keep the situation under review.”
After initially cancelling shows in Walsall and Telford in March and early April, BCB Promotions have been forced to cancel four other shows across the region, affecting Dudley and Dunstall.
