The Wolverhampton fighter lifted the belt as part of BCB Promotions’ Now or Never show at the Genting Arena in Birmingham.

Williams was hunting Turner throughout the bout, constantly placing him in the corner to deal a devastating amount of combinations and hooks to his opponent’s head and body, which eventually led to Turner’s corner retiring him.

Elsewhere on the card, Coseley’s Tommy Ghent extended his unbeaten professional record to eight fights.

He got the better of Lithuanian Arvydas Trizno over four rounds, winning the fight 40-36 after he had control of the ring from the get go.

Former Albion youth-team footballer Shakan Pitters, now 28, also kept up his undefeated streal, stretching his record to 5-0 after beating 39-year-old Elvis Dube.

Pitters used his height and reach to keep Dube at arm’s length on his way to victory.

Tommy Loach’s fight ended in a draw when he took on MJ Hall from Wordsley.

Both Loach, from West Bromwich, and Hall were not afraid to get in close and take punches. Hall was after his first professional win whereas Loach was looking to win his fourth professional fight. However, after four rounds the fight was left as a tie 38-38.

Ludlow’s Craig Morris retained his IBO Continental Welterweight belt over Andy Keates, from Leek, in the card’s headline contest.

An accidental clash of heads during the third round led the fight to end as a technical draw. Up until that point, both boxers were showing no signs of quitting and the crowd was enthralled with the action.

Andrew ‘D’Animal’ Robinson won his first title of his career as he beat Brighton’s Nicky Jenman for the vacant IBO Continental Middleweight strap.

The 33-year-old from Redditch did not have an easy walk to the title as Jenman was not letting the title slip through his fingers.

Both men were applying pressure and landing heavy gut busting punches, but Robinson had the upper hand and was able to control the movement of Jenman, putting him against the ropes and in the corners when he wanted to up the ante of his punches and the speed of the fight.

Birmingham’s Kash Ali won the vacant Central Area Heavyweight title in his home town, knocking out David Howe 21 seconds into the second round.

Kelcie Ball took his unbeaten record to 9-0 after he beat Jordan Grannum.

The 26-year-old from Warwickshire won 60-54 and had Grannum on the ropes for a large portion of the fight.

Ball controlled the centre of the ring and worked his feet to try and outmanoeuvre his opponent.

Birmingham’s Moussab Abububaker won his second professional fight when he beat Paul Cummings.

Abububaker had the home crowd behind him as he picked apart Cummings with his jab which he began to double up as the fight progressed.

Cummings was beaten after the final bell with the score going 40-36 to Abububaker.

Matt Sen, from Birmingham, beat Kevin Williams after a four-round bout with Sen winning 40-36.

Sen Showed his ferocity landing lots of shots that left Williams dazed at certain points during the pairs cruiserweight bout.
