One of those is Finn Azaz, who left Albion to join Villa before making an impact on the first team set up at Albion.

It was a similar case at Villa, as he went out on a loan spell at Newport County before back to back stints with Plymouth Argle.

The London born midfielder then moved to Middlesbrough and it is not known whether Albion had inserted a sell on clause into his deal.

The Republic of Ireland international has excelled at Boro - with 16 goals in 66 games.

And his performances have not gone unnoticed - with Premier League new boys Leeds United credited as the latest club to be interested in his signature.

He notched 12 goals and 11 assists last season - and had been linked to Crystal Palace.

Now Leeds are keen to bolster their squad with Azaz, in a bid to survive in their first season back in the top flight.

According to other reports, Bournemouth are also another club who have been credited with strong interest in the midfielder.
