Beyond that, all eyes will then be on the pre-season tours and schedules, as well as the start of the new seasons.

They will come around quick, but before then there is the much anticipated day of discovering the fixtures and the important dates in the calendar.

The release dates from the Premier League to the EFL differ, so here is a breakdown of when the fixtures are released for our clubs

Wolves & Aston Villa

Premier League fixtures will come on on Wednesday June 18.

Following that the campaign will begin on August 15, with there being 33 rounds of weekend fixtures and five rounds of midweeks games.

West Brom, and Walsall

There is a slight difference between the Premier League and the EFL, with fixtures for the three other leagues dropping at midday on Thursday June 26.

Beyond that, the seasons will kick off first with League One and League Two from August 1 to August 3.

And it changes again for West Brom in the Championship, with their campaign kicking off between August 8 and 10.

In the Championship, there will be 46 rounds of games across 33 weekends, nine midweeks and four bank holidays.

In League One, it differs slightly, with 33 weekends, five midweeks, eight bank holidays and internatonal breaks.

Alongside the fixture release, there are also the draws with the first round of the Carabao Cup and the Vertu Trophy Group Stage. They will both take place on the same day the fixtures come out.
