Reach and Pieters were both one of a handful of players who were shown the Hawthorns exit door last summer - as owners Bilkul Football got stuck into their first transfer window since taking over at the club.

It brought to an end a three year spell for Reach, who had signed as a free agent from Sheffield Wednesday back in 2021.

The utility man was a key figure under three managers and was highly praised by ex-boss Carlos Corberan for being able to play in a number of different roles.

Pieters was a different story, signed by Steve Bruce as a free agent after the 2022 summer window, he went on to be an almost mainstay in the side for the rest of the season under Corberan.

The veteran was then offered fresh terms in 2023, penning another one year deal before his release.

He went on to sign for Luton Town and signed a short term deal earlier this season - before being released.

He then rocked up at Derby County but featured just once as they survived relegation from the Championship.

Pieters is now again without a club for a second straight summer - and was released by the Rams alongside former Albion academy graduate Kemar Roofe.

Elsewhere, Reach was out of contract for the first half of the campaign before being snapped up by League One Wycombe Wanderers.

He went on to feature 12 times for the club, and started in their League One play-off semi-final defeat to Charlton last week, before being released by the club.
