Goals from Taylor Allen and Alfie Chang against Chesterfield on Sunday have put them firmly in the box seat to reach the League Two play-off final at Wembley.
There is more work to be done as Paul Cook's men head to the West Midlands on Friday night.
But they will be met by a near sell out crowd at the Bescot - with the club revealing that less than 500 tickets are available for the clash.
Saddlers fans have moved in their droves to grab a ticket for the huge Friday evening showdown - with the Bescot set to be close to an 11,000 sell out crowd in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
"Our support has been unbelievable all season. I said it in my programme notes this week but the highest home attendances for 20 years," boss Mat Sadler added.
"The away support has been amazing all year too. We're so proud to have them behind us and this is another occasion where Walsall Football Club comes together.
"That togetherness is going to be needed. There will 100 per cent be times in the game where supporters will need to help us. So we'll need them to be with us and make that cauldron of noise.
"We know that's what what we'll get because that noise is something else."
