The attacker midfielder, who has 12 goals to his name this season, missed the final four games of the regular season with a groin injury.
Dobra, the former Ipswich youngster, has been hailed as one of the division's best attackers and is a key part of Paul Cook's attacking armoury at Chesterfield.
Dobra has been rated "a good chance" to be available for the play-offs, and potentially even Sunday afternoon's semi-final first leg against the Saddlers at SMH Group Stadium.
He stepped up his rehab work in training over the last week or so and is pushing for a recall.
The Spireites are making a bid for back-to-back promotions having made it out of the National League as champions last term.
Chesterfield enjoyed a very strong end to the fourth tier campaign and were beaten just once in 13 outings, a heavy 4-0 reverse at Tranmere in early April.
And back-to-back wins to end the campaign, including a narrow final-day success at Accrington Stanley, saw the Spireites sneak into the play-offs at the 11th hour at the expense of Salford and Grimsby.
Peterborough loan full-back Jack Sparkes has been missing with a knee injury since March but could also make a return to face the Saddlers.
Ollie Banks (calf) is set to miss out while there are also doubts about veteran frontman Paddy Madden (hamstring).
It appeared Chesterfield had matched Walsall's turn of the year slump having managed just two victories between Boxing Day and the beginning of March.
But former Wolves midfielder Cook, the experienced former Portsmouth and Wigan title-winning boss, led an admirable fightback.
The 57-year-old, a veteran of almost 900 games as a manager, is looking for a second League Two promotion as Chesterfield boss having guided the Derbyshire side to the title in 2013/14 during his first spell in charge. He returned to the club in February 2022 after a little over six months in charge at Ipswich.
