Clean sheet - Struggled with a couple of teasing deliveries under his crossbar during the first half but produced a strong near post save to repel Chris Long late on to preserve his clean sheet.

Strong - Produced a strong defensive performance and set-up the winning goal with a neat knockdown for George Hall to hook his finish into the net.
Harry Williams - 8
Brilliant - Looked back to his usual best. Put in a crunching challenge early on and just continued to go from strength to strength with a brilliant defensive display.

Solid - Dealt with his defensive duties expertly and came closest for Walsall in the first effort when he drove a low shot wide.
