The Saddlers stretched their winless run to 13 matches as they head into the final game trailing the automatic promotion places by a point.

At the full-time whistle, there were loud chants of 'Sadler out' following a run of just two wins in 20 games in League Two.

When asked about the chants, Sadler said: "Frustrated, deflated, whatever way you want to put it but I'm not going to stop fighting, the group is not going to stop fighting.

"Everyone is giving everything that they can to turn our fortunes around. It's frustrating but that's football and the only way around it is to keep working.

"Football is football sometimes and we've done more than enough to win certain games in the past and not come the right side of the result.
