The club began work on the stadium last summer, following backlash over season ticket prices, after many fans pointed out the peeling paint and dated look to the stadium.

However, because the work was started later in the year, Wolves had to halt it in October ahead of the winter months.

With the weather now improving, Wolves are set to restart the painting job in early May and hope to have it completed shortly after.

Some of the work will be focused on the steelwork outside the Billy Wright Stand, which had to be stopped before it was fully finished.

Other work last year also saw the handrailings for steps around Molineux repainted, alongside bollards at the stadium.
