The Sky Blues' 1-1 draw with Hull City on Monday evening leaves Frank Lampard's side sitting three points ahead of the Baggies in sixth, with four games left to play.

The two go head to head at the CBS Arena on Friday, with a win for the home side leaving them six points ahead of Tony Mowbray's men.

But a win for Albion will reel Coventry right back in and set up a fascinating final three games of the season.

But Coventry may have to do it without three of their key players.

Midfielder Victor Torp was already out of action having suffered ankle ligament damage against Portsmouth, and Lampard has confirmed that he is out for the rest of the season.

However they have been dealt two more fresh blows, and could be without both defender Bobby Thomas and winger Ephron Mason-Clark, who both sat out Monday's draw at Hull.

Speaking to Coventry Live, Lampard was unsure whether they will be fit for Friday's showdown.

He said: “Ephron has got the similar problem he’s been struggling with, and it flared up against Portsmouth under his foot, so that’s like a bone issue, so that kept him out. They will be doubts for Friday but I don’t want to commit to that, so we’ll see.”
