Emi Martinez 7
A bad start for the shot stopper - who came out and palmed the ball that led to the PSG opener. Should have done better, but then made big saves in the second half to deny PSG a goal that would have settled the tie long before the end.
Matty Cash 7
Caught way out of position for the opening goal, leaving far too much space down the right. Was involved in the attacking play in both halves, and did well to keep PSG quiet down his side in the second period.
Ezri Konsa 8
Solid in the middle and then was involved at the other end. A superb finish for his goal that made Villa dream even more. Had a golden chance to level it up and take it to extra time just after but just couldn't get his head on the end of a Rashford cross.
Pau Torres 7
Solid alongside his partner for long periods, but question marks surrounding him for the first goal. Had Villa's best chance of the second half, and then was involved late on but took a chance of Onana's head.
