Answering critics
No doubt about it, Albion had questions to answer on Saturday.
The midweek defeat to Bristol City and the manner of it was damaging, with many supporters as good as writing off the campaign as they fell away from the play-off spots.
They had to stand up and be counted, show they can do it under pressure and show that they can still have a say in the promotion race this season.
And they answered those questions. They put in a superb display, created a string of chances and on another day it could have been a 4-1 or 5-1 score line.
It was shaky at the death but they got over the line. It showed that still have the stomach for the fight.
