The 23-year-old scored the opener inside 85 seconds - his fourth goal of the season - and also provided an assist to help Wolves win their fourth straight top-flight match for the first time since 1972.

Wolves have drastically improved since Vitor Pereira was appointed as boss in December and Sunday's victory helped them go 14 points clear of the drop zone with six games to play.

Ait-Nouri hailed Pereira and thinks the side can go on to win more games between now and the end of the season, starting with Manchester United next week.

He told the club website: "He's (Pereira) made a very good job. He's a very good coach, he's very focused and we work very hard in the training all week to show how we can play.

"It's very good. Everyone is happy, all the players, all the staff, and we've improved. We've done very well the last few games, and I have a feeling that we will continue like this because we deserve it.

"Now we need to prepare the next game against Manchester United and that will be a very good game away, and hopefully we'll do good.

"I'm happy. I tried to do my best for the team. Today I scored and I made one assist, but the most important thing is the team."
