Walsall were knocked off top spot for the first time in 119 days after falling to a 3-2 defeat against Port Vale at Bescot last weekend.

The Saddlers have collected just two wins from their last 16 games and have failed to register a victory in nine (the longest current winless run in the division).

If Doncaster Rovers beat AFC Wimbledon in their early kick-off at the Eco-Power Stadium then Walsall will find themselves out of the top three before they kick-off at 3pm.

That is how tight the picture is it the top of the table, but Sadler feels the season is still there for Walsall to seize their chance.
